Selena Li took ten years to complete her university degree
Selena Li’s current love life is like a blanc sheet, besides focussing fully on her work, she also focus on her school career. Earlier, she went back to Toronto to finish her business degree study which she started 10 years ago. Last month she attended the graduation ceremony and officially became a bachelor graduate, she fulfilled her mother’s long desired wish and her study stage of her life as well.

End of last year, Selena went to Toronto to study for four months and finished her business degree study. Last month, the university held a graduation ceremony in Toronto, besides from officially ‘upgraded’ to a university graduate, she also fulfilled her mother’s long desired wish. No wonder that on her graduation day, Selena’s mother specially came to the ceremony and her behaviour was even more excited and nervous than her daughter’s. Selena said that actually in 2003 she almost finished her bachelor study, but that year she returned to Hong Kong to participate in the Miss competition for the fun and therefore quitted her study. After the competition she got contracted and became a TVB managed artist, she then worked for TVB and filmed numerous series, this way started her acting career and therefore making her school career putting her school career aside. However, at home her sisters, brothers are all university graduates, thus her mother has been hoping that she could regain her school bag and finish her bachelor study, she said: “Every year, mother would tell me to study, but I had to film series all the time and had no time for vacation, as a result that I graduate after ten years. Now I’ve finished my degree and even attended the graduation ceremony, however my mother is the happiest, she felt that I finally completed the study stage of my life.”
