TVB Awards 08 Voting Guide
September 30th, 2008 by LizzyTVB Lighting Ceremony has been held and the official nominations list is released. This year, there will only be 10 nominations for each category and apparently only a maximum of 3 nominations are allowed for each series in each category. Also each person can only be nominated for one of their series.
Selena is nominated for the fourth time for the Most Improved Actress award, along Tavia Yeung, Toby Leung, Nancy Wu and Sharon Chan. The deadline for voting is November 9th, 11.30am. The TVB Anniversary Awards ceremony will be held on November 15th.
Note: The Lightning Ceremony will broadcast on TV on October 4th, Selena didn’t attend the Lightning Ceremony, due to filming Living Up.

Selena Li does not believe Charmaine seduced Kevin
‘Rumor Queen’ Charmaine Sheh gathered together with rumored boyfriends Kevin Cheng, Ron Ng and Joe Ma at [TVB-CMB Alliance New Long Journey] press conference yesterday. TVB will be collaborating with South Korea CMB channel and more than 10 TVB artistes attended the conference. However, Charmaine became the spotlight due to a handful of her rumored boyfriends taking pictures with her.
Moses Chan, Tavia Yeung, Selena Li, Chris Lai, Kate Tsui and Kenneth Ma also attended the press conference held by TVBI and CMB. During the event, Selena chatted happily with Charmaine. Selena revealed that she have become friends with Charmaine after filming [When Easterly Showers Fall On the Sunny West]. When asked about Charmaine’s rumor with Kevin, Selena said: “The rumors cannot be taken seriously. (Did you ask Charmaine?) There is no need, but to me Kevin doesn’t seems to be Charmaine’s type.”

[The Four] promotions begin
Castmembers from TVB ancient drama [The Four] including Raymond Lam, Ron Ng, Sammul Chan, Kenneth Ma, Selena Li, Halina Tam and Dominic Lam attended a promotional event at a health club on Thursday. The four male leads gave demonstrations with some gym balls and allowed the ladies to do press-ups on their backs.
Selena was suffering from a cold sore, so she appeared wearing a mask. When Kenneth was doing his bounces on the gym ball, Dominic and Ron decided to play a little trick on him and Selena, pushing them into close proximity. In the confusion, Selena was knocked onto the ground after being hit by the ball. Afterwards, she laughed that she did not remember what happened and just found herself on the floor feeling a little dizzy. She joked that she was already a patient, so she did not know why she was chosen to be attacked.
Ron was asked about recent reports linking his rumoured girlfriend Charmaine Sheh and Kevin Cheng. He said that he will just see it as a joke and will only believe it if he hears the news first hand from those concerned.
The highly anticipated series starring four of TVB’s most popular male leads will begin airing in Hong Kong tomorrow evening.
