Biography
Selena Li, also known as Li Sze Wan is born on February 12th in 1981, she is a former Miss Hong Kong 2003 contestant. That year, as a contestant from Toronto, Selena was the winner of Miss Talent Award and Miss Photogenic Award. Prior to entering the Miss Hong Kong pageant, Selena was attending the University of Toronto studying for a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Afterwards, she signed a contract with TVB in Hong Kong.
After her character Kwok Bo Lok in TVB series [To Grow With Love] was well-received by the audience in 2006, she gained more attention in Hong Kong with many commercial ads.
During the broadcast of [Beyond the Realm of Conscience] in 2009, in which she plays concubine Yin, Selena has taken a break from the entertainment circle for 3 and a half months and returned to the University of Toronto to finish her degree. [Beyond] reached 50 points in its finale and tied up with the highest rated TV series of all time [Jewel in the Palace]. Afterwards she resumed her work in TVB and filmed [Can't Buy Me Love] which aired in 2010 and became the top rated TV series of that year.
On March 29th, 2010, Selena opened her own beauty school named «Technique» in Jordan, in which she invested over $1,000,000. She invited many of her artist friends to attend the opening ceremony.

There’s no difference between both. Jay Chou is 周杰倫, 周 is in Cantonese pronounced as Chow, but since Jay is from Taiwan, in mandarin 周 is Chou.

Thanks for your support for Selena. I think you mix up the term ‘movie’ and ‘series’. Selena hardly acts in any movies, she mainly films episodic series. Her most recent completed series ‘The Life and Times of a Sentinel’ is airing soon (July 25th), stay tuned!
