Wai Yin Mooncake function

As a member of Wai Yin Association, Selena helped with selling mooncakes. The money will be used for helping out handicapped children for education.

Wai Yin members sells mooncakes at event, Selena Li gets support from father

Wai Yin Association sells mooncake and oil yesterday, after two days free they continue for one week. Except from Wai Yin new president Winnie Yeung, were also Mandy Cho, Selena Li, Koni Lui, Shermon Tang, Lily Ho, Sofie Li and others busy selling. For the purchased items, they were also asking for signatures and having a good response. During the event, they also played a lantern build game, which was won by Selena Li!

Selena Li find it quite memorable that time she participated for the first time in selling mooncakes, as support her father bought 100 boxes in one breath. Now she plans to buy 5 boxes and give it to her father. Asked if she’ll give some boxes to her rumoured boyfriend Patrick Tang’s parents? She laughed and replied: “I bought quite a lot of boxes, I think it’s possible to give to friends and family. (Will you be adding a fruit basket as sincerity?) I won’t deliberately try to curry favour by doing this. If you have sincerity, then it’s already enough. (During mid-autumn festival, will you be spending your time dating in full moon?) I don’t know if I have to work then.”

[Living Up] press conference

Selena attended the press conference for [Living Up]. It will start airing on September 12th and will broadcast every monday till friday at 11.05pm. Selena will be filming this programme until early next year.

Selena Li will not ask boyfriend Patrick Tang for hosting advice

The new season of TVB’s lifestyle programme about the property market [Living Up] will be hosted by Vanessa Yeung, Selena Li and Candy Cheung. They appeared at the press conference together yesterday and were rewarded prizes. Vanessa was given a Mini cushion, Selena a bikini and Candy a set of cutlery.

Selena stated that it is was her first time hosting a programme and she found it very difficult, because her Chinese is not very good. Also she had to read many four character Chinese proverbs. It was not the same as how she could express herself casually as in a TV series. But she also hopes to be able to do hosting work as well as acting in her career. The reporter mentioned that her boyfriend Patrick Tang started his career as a host. Asked if she would ask him for advice? She suddenly said: “Is he that smart?” The reporter pointed out that he had hosted [Jade Solid Gold] and [Foodie 2 Shoes]. She replied: “That type of feel is very different from this feel. I intend to ask Anna Yau and Amigo Chui for advice. (Are you really not going to ask your boyfriend for advice?) He’s busy filming a TV series”. Selena expressed that she was very excited about visiting numerous designer houses and apartments. She hopes that she will quickly become a home owner. The reporter then said that Patrick’s dream house is a three floor village house. Selena claimed that she liked architecture that looked very western but she can accept living in a village house. But she had never looked at a property with Patrick before. Asked what she would do if Patrick suddenly bought her a house? She says: “I will be very shocked.”
