TVB artistes have Hoi Nin Fan together
Linda Chung, Moses Chan, Selena Li and Chris Lai get together for Hoi Nin Fan, an abundant meal eaten on the second day of Lunar New Year) with advertiser executive, they hope for continuous work and the economy to recover in the Year of the Ox.
Of all the holidays, Linda, Moses, Selena and Chris all said they like Lunar New Year the best, not only because they can receive ‘red packets’ but can gather with their family to eat delicious food and also enjoy family love and care. The four of them are very particular about Hoi Nin Fan, they think delicacies like shark’s fin, sea cucumber and abalone should be included, since these have the implied meaning of a new and good beginning for the coming year.
Linda said: “Every Chor Nin Yat (first day of the Lunar New Year) my family walks around our garden three times and hopes this will bring lots of good luck. On the second day we have Hoi Nin Fan together, my mother always cooks many dishes especially fish, since it symbolizes “Have a surplus every year” (Chinese proverb).
Selena and Chris think Hoi Nin Fan must have black moss and dried oyster, because they have the implied meaning of “Strike it rich and good market” (Chinese proverb). Selena said: “I hope the economy can recover in the Year of the Ox, everyone can have shark’s fin with rice!” Chris said every year he has Hoi Nin Fan with his manager and also god-sister Yoyo Mung, so he has Hoi Nin Fan several times. As for Moses, he said every Lunar New Year he eats a lot. He thinks Hoi Nin Fan must have Chinese mushrooms and said: “Because I love to eat them, the big ones are the best.”

Wet water made Selena Li shivering
Recently, the weather had been colder, but Selena Li still showed up in a sexy outfit, to film advertisements for a cosmetic products brand in Mainland. During filming, aside from the Tube Dress, she also showed up in a sling outfit as well as in Wet Look, no wonder that due to the cold temperature she was shivering. Afterwards she said: “This time I’m very satisfied with the reward for the advertisement shooting. It’s my first advertisement for 2009, meaning a good begin. (This time filming, is it very tough?) Not tough, only it’s extremely cold, it’s really so cold that my tooth joints became stiff!”
Besides, the advertisement market requests Selena Li to talk in mandarin during shooting, but due to the fact that she had been raised up overseas, her mandarin is so-so, absolutely not fluently, it requires slowly one word for one word talking, which looked very funny.

Patrick Tang and Selena Li’s relationship hasn’t changed
TVB held its’ Annual Artistes Dinner at BP International Hotel last night. rumoured pairs such as Charmaine Sheh and Kevin Cheng, Raymond Lam and Linda Chung, Patrick Tang and Selena Li, Amigo Chui and Natalie Tong, Koni Lui and Dickson Wong etc. became the focus points. Amigo Chui, who was earlier revealed by Stephen Chan that he had broken up with Natalie Tong, was one of the hosts last night, the two even openly ‘put their rumours on table’. While Patrick Tang and Selena Li entered the stage hand in hand and Raymond Lam and Linda Chung sang as lovers “Sam Ling (Contented Heart)”.
Singtao Newspaper reported that Patrick Tang and Selena Li entered the stage hand in hand, for filming TVB’s Annual Artistes Dinner 2009. Yesterday were also reports saying that the two had already broken up and even have lived separately for 1 year. Patrick Tang was yesterday filming for TVB programme [Boom Boom Ba] (耳分高下). He was muddled, not knowing about the reports, when he said: “So serious! The tabloids must be lying, there’s absolutely not such thing, the whole matter is made up!” He strongly mentioned that his relation with Selena hasn’t changed, his love life is the same as before, Selena is still a good friend, so he had been in Selena’s new car. When asked if he has given his girlfriend a new car? He smiled saying that he hasn’t that much money. Patrick also denied that after his love life was revealed, he had gotten less work, but said that the past year he had spent a half year to film two series, so his exposure’s chance had decreased, but work and income hadn’t decreased.

Viva Starfestival 2009
一月 10th, 2009 by LizzySelena was one of the gueststars for Macau’s [Viva Starfestival 2009], in 2008 Selena went with Kenneth, this time she performed with Wayne Lai. Visitors weren’t allowed to take photos or film videos, so the China fans that visited her could only take pics outside. Selena sang three songs and did a Fast Rhythm Dance.

Hi Everyone! I just got home from my performance from Macau!!
I actually want to leave Sindy and Ceci a message here because they came to watch my performance, but I didn’t get a chance to return the photos and letters to them after the show as I took another ship back! Can you guys come to the client dinner TVB is hosting on the 20th? It’s a private function, but I can see you guys after the function. I am letting you know now because I will be flying tomorrow morning, actually in a few hours! I am taking a week off for vacation, hehehehe… and i won’t be back until the 19th, so I’ll return your photos and letters on the 20th, ok?
Anyway, thanks so much for coming all the way to Macau to watch the show, i hope you guys enjoyed it!! The dancing part was very tiring for me, but I think it went well…hehe…thanks again!!!
Also, I’m shooting a commercial for CMM skin care (Cheng Ming Ming), TV and print ad, and it will be released in mainland china, so look out for it soon!!! =) See you all around! and dress warmly, it’s soooooooooooo cold!

It was really nice seeing you, thanks for coming, and your photo album is so cute! I feel so touched that you flew over to see me, thanks for being so sweet!…but I was not very happy with yesterday’s performance, because I could not really hear myself from the stage, the music was really blur, so I think I was really off tone (my supervisor told me that).
So yesterday when I was on stage, I was a little sad, because I really couldnt’ hear myself sing and don’t really know what I am singing… aiya… oh well, but everyone was so nice there, so it’s ok! thanks again for your support! Really happy to see you!!! And I am really glad we came early so I got to talk to you personally, I was really afriad I would not have the chance. But I will take more lessons in mandarin.. hehe… so next time my mandarin will be better! hehe…
