In most of the parts in [Beyond] I play one of the concubines, but before I get married to the Emperor, I’ll have a young girl look, and this look I like the most from all my ancient series. I think that this one is very different from the past ancient looks, maybe because in this ancient look the most special part is that in the hairstyle’s front part there’s a lot of hair accessoires, hehe!! Do you think that my hair accessoires look like grapes??
Can you guess where I am? I’m actually inside TVB’s van, waiting for filming to start, it isn’t just a van vehicle, it is also used as locker room when we go to film outdoor scenes, so it’s very dark inside.

World Glaucoma Day function

Selena Li suddenly acts cold towards Patrick Tang

Yesterday Selena Li and Evergreen Mak were guests at an event for World Glaucoma Day 2009. The event was to encourage members of the public to pay attention to the blinded individuals on the road. Selena Li who has 400 degrees of myopia (nearsighted), although had done lasik, but there are some side affects. When there is a strong light beaming, her eyes would get watery and also sometimes vision becomes blurred. But she still thinks that her condition is better than before she done lasik.

As to there was no one at home to take care of her dog, so she brought her dog along with her to the event. “I would normally take my dog to work with me.” (Why don’t you leave your dog at Patrick Tang’s place?) Selena said “It’s nothing to do with him, why should I leave my dog at his place?” (Did you breakup with him?) “We have never announced that we were together.” The reporter asked if she would draw the line with Patrick? She replied “No, we haven’t cut off our friendship. We had always been independent, my most loved are my family and my dog. (In your heart, is your dog more important than Patrick?) My dog is my daughter, also we are both focusing on our work, temporarily will not be talking about love.”

As for reports claiming that their relationship was high profile on the show [Boom Boom Ba] which made TVB Executive Stephen Chen dissatisfied with them. It was reported that due to this they broke up. Selena immediately felt bad for Stephen and replied “People are always saying things like that about him. He really hasn’t asked me about my love life and totally respects me. (But will you welcome anyone who pursues you?) That I cannot control, just my career is the most important.”
