Selena is new spokesperson for a slimming centre in China called Body9ine, she has filmed some ads shoots for them.

Having already been in the industry for 6 years, Selena Li has always been quite secretive, but now for this slimming ad, she becomes very sexy. In the ad, she poses in 6 different sexy styles and her sexiness could be compared to those professional models. However, Selena does not want audience to just focus on her body figure, she hopes that audience could pay more attention to her acting.
Selena recently has started shooting for new slimming ads and reveals many different styles of sexiness, showing off her legs, back and everything. During one of the shoots, she had on a Deep V dress which revealed her sexy chest area, it could be said that this is her most sexy appearance in her 6 years since being in the industry. Turns out that Selena never really had confidence towards her body figure, she said: “I am not that type to be slim, since I was young and up until now, I am the athletic type, muscles everywhere on my body, therefore explains why I’ve always been rather secretive. Jobs that require me to reveal too much, I won’t accept it, this time it’s truly my breakthrough. (But you don’t even have a bikini look?) My bottom line still does not reach that level of wearing bikini. Since Miss Hong Kong, I haven’t met the public at all in a bikini.”
Selena frankly said that low cut dresses makes her quite uncomfortable, on top of that, during filming there are many crew members around, making her become very nervous. She laughed at herself and said that she is definitely not the type to wear bikinis, even if the pay is really high, she won’t accept the job. Asked about her recent sexy appearance, Selena won’t follow this route to earn money? Selena said: “Everyone’s road is different, I am an actress, I don’t want people to focus on my body figure. (Filming these sexy slimming ads this time, did you ask rumored Patrick Tang first?) Why should I ask him? When it comes to work, I don’t need to ask, I only need to ask my manager.”

Hello my dear fans… long time no talk, I have been busy working on my new drama and also, I just finished a slimming commercial! Will be out on “Tung Fong Sunday” magazine next week… hehe…
Anyway, I heard that there is a rumour on this forum that I am mixed, Japanese and Chinese, THAT IS NOT TRUE! My mom has a bit of Shanghai blood in her, but not Japanese! My Dad is also 100% chinese, so I am indeed 100% Chinese, but sometimes people think I do look a little mixed, I dunno why, maybe it’s because I grew up in Canada with white people, haha.. I really don’t know…
I also want to answer the question about everyone asking if I will be going to “Wu Dong qi ji”, I don’t know… because I don’t even know if there will be a season 3 of this show, I really want to, but it’s up to TVB, not me! That’s all for now, hope everyone keep healthy and keep happy, so many diseases lately, so be careful la!!!

[Murderer] voice dub

The new movie [Murderer 《殺人犯》] starring Aaron Kwok has Selena’s voice in it! Support Selena and watch the movie!

In the upcoming new movie [Murderer], you can hear my voice as Aaron Kwok’s wife, you want to know why? Because the person who acts as Aaron’s wife is a Taiwanese actress, so they need a cantonese voice for this role. Being an all-round artist, this is my first time dubbing voice. After this experience I find out that only using my voice to act is much more difficult than using my whole person, because firstly I have to assort to the actress’ lips movements, and then use my voice to express the feelings, but… the whole process is quite a lot of fun!! I think the most unforgettable part is that when you see your own voice coming out from someone else’s mouth, it is actually quite strange. Moreover I’m very happy, the director likes my voice. I have already watched the movie, I think it’s very good, it is a very nice movie, moreover I think most of you will think the ending is very surprising, if you have time then you definitely should watch!!

Selena Li slaps Tavia Yeung, but will get a double slap in return

Selena Li and Tavia Yeung were shooting a slapping scene for the series [Beyond the Realm of Conscience] the other day. The storyline consists of both of them (imperial concubines) being favored by the emperor. Due to competing with each other they fight. Selena slaps Tavia very hard. On camera they compete with each other but off set they are very good friends.
Selena said frankly that she was afraid of hitting Tavia. “You must grow your nails to portray a imperial concubine. Therefore I was afraid I would injure Tavia’s face. I felt a lot of pressure. We tried different positions and attempted not to use real force. But the outcome wasn’t great. In the end we decided to slap for real. But of course I didn’t use any force on her. Later in the series, Tavia will slap me twice. I hope when we shoot those scenes she will go easy on me.”
Tavia stated that the most painful part was her neck. She said: “Selena went easy on me, so why would my face hurt? Instead my neck hurts because the headdress is heavy. But in order to shoot beautiful footage I will adapt to the most heavy headdress. Susan Tse Suet Sam has the heaviest headdress in the series because the heavier the headdress the higher the ranking. “
